Our February event presenter will be our friend and colleague, Leverett Bezanson, Chair of one of our co-hosting organizations, MTS, the Marine Technology Society. Please see the attached flyer, which gives details of MTS, especially its summer internship program.

Welcome to the IEEE Oceanic Engineering Society (OES), San Diego Chapter's monthly event for February 2025. The Society is hosting this meeting jointly with TMA (The Maritime Alliance) and MTS (Marine Technology Society).

Please join us for MTS's main presentation. There will also be plenty of time for networking and friendly conversation about oceanic engineering, science, BlueTech, and more. You need not be an IEEE or OES member, TMA, or MTS member. Everyone is invited.

This month, we will be at Quantum Brewing again, a cool science-themed brewery founded by a biochemist.
