Surf Industry Sustainability Initiatives In California and Portugal
Event Overview
SEPTEMBER 14TH, 2023 | SCRIPPS INSTITUTION OF OCEANOGRAPHY
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA
In the surfing industry, companies, nonprofits, pro surfers, NGOs, academics, politicians, and coastal communities are increasingly leading the way toward radically enhanced innovation, sustainability, and conservation. These interests are particularly active (and effective) in California and Portugal.
In collaboration with The Surfrider Foundation, Arctic Foam, Earthwise Sorbents, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, the City of San Diego, and the Portuguese Consulate in San Francisco, TMA BlueTech will host a day-long event that brings many of these players together to feature how they are leading the way towards innovation, sustainability, and conservation in California and Portugal’s surf industry.
This event will be the official kick-off event to The Surfrider Foundation’s Global Wave Conference in Peniche, Portugal (October 2-4).

H1 What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
H2 Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
H3 How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
H4 How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
