TMA BlueTech has again partnered with the International Trade Administration (ITA) – part of the U.S. Department of Commerce – to organize and underwrite the U.S. Maritime Technology Export Initiative (USMTEI) to promote U.S. BlueTech exports through selected trade shows and trade missions. With partial funding from the Market Development Coordinator Program (MDCP), the USMTEI is a 4-year export initiative (2023-2027) is focused on global markets with an emphasis on European and Asian markets, and helps offset the costs for U.S. companies to exhibit at key industry trade shows.
On February 7th, TMA announced the 8 US-based companies that will accompany us on our first ever trade mission to the Sea Japan trade mission! These companies are:
- Synthetik Applied Technologies
- TCarta
- RCAM
The above companies will not only get an exhibition spot at a dramatically reduced cost at the Sea Japan trade show, but the opportunity to actively work with the International Trade Administration to leverage their network to find trusted customers and partners in the Japanese market.
The Sea Japan trade show comes at a pivotal moment for the world’s oceans. In 2015 the UN unanimously approved the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, with 17 Sustainable Development Goals. And the UN Decade for Ocean Science runs from 2021-2030 as the world strengthens its efforts to mobilize, create and drive solutions for the “Science We Need, for the Ocean We Want”. This is the time to forge global partnerships to propel much needed science-based innovative solutions focused on a new chapter for sustainable ocean growth.
